As a member of AIGA, I had the pleasure of inviting Mikey Burton to Utica to speak about freelance, passion projects, and other “designey” type topics. The challenge was making it happen and getting the word out to area designers, teachers and students. Thanks to all the fantastic designers in the Utica AIGA what seemed like an daunting task turned out to be a lot of fun. Not to mention it ended up being one of the biggest and most successful events the Utica AIGA has ever hosted.
